I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bonn (a.k.a. Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn), in the research group of Carl-Friedrich Bödigheimer.

From October 2015 to September 2016 I was in the Algebraic Topology group of Lionel Schwartz in the Laboratoire Analyse, Géométrie et Applications at Université Paris 13.

From 2013 to September 2015 I was a postdoc at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, in the research group of Michael Weiss.

Until March 2013 I was a PhD student in the Topology group at the University of Oxford, under the supervision of Ulrike Tillmann.

My research interests are in algebraic and geometric topology, including:

  • different kinds of configuration spaces,
  • moduli spaces of submanifolds,
  • diffeomorphism groups of manifolds,
  • the phenomenon of homological stability,
  • polynomial functors,
  • representations of surface braid groups and motion groups,
  • group-completion of topological monoids.

In March 2015 (so it is very out of date!) I wrote a short summary of my research for an application to a workshop, which is here.
A more recent poster (from February 2018) is here, and, most recently, here is a summary of my previous work from an application from October 2018.
