Lukas Woike (Université Bourgogne Europe) — Open conformal field theories and ansular functors

In my talk, I will use the theory of cyclic and modular operads to build open modular functors and ansular functors from Grothendieck-Verdier categories. The latter are categories that appear for instance in the theory of vertex operator algebras. Using the microcosm principle, I will construct correlators for open modular functors and ansular functors. The talk is partly based on joint work with Lukas Müller.
