Alexandru Suciu (Northeastern University and IMAR) — Beyond formality: Koszul invariants of cdga models and their applications

Many spaces of interest—nilmanifolds, elliptic configuration spaces, Sasakian manifolds—are not formal, yet admit finite-type cdga models. We show that classical results relating resonance varieties, Alexander invariants, and Chen ranks to cohomology extend to this non-formal setting, with the cohomology ring replaced by the full cdga model. The key tool is Koszul linearization; the main examples are nilpotent Lie algebras and the pure braid groups on the torus.
