Florian Kranhold (Universität Bonn) — Vertical configuration spaces and their homological stability
We introduce a family of configuration spaces of clusters of points in a Euclidean space where points in each cluster have to satisfy a 'verticality' condition. In dimension 2, these configuration spaces describe the homotopy type of a coloured operad which acts on a simplicial model for moduli spaces of surfaces with multiple boundary curves. In this talk, we prove a homological stability result for these spaces.
This is joint work with Andrea Bianchi (Copenhagen).
