Federico Cantero (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid)Steenrod operations in Khovanov homology

In 2014 Lipshitz and Sarkar improved Khovanov homology to an invariant of knots with values in topological spectra, and they gave evidence that many spectra can be realised as such invariants. Given the constructive nature of Khovanov homology, the most convenient and computational tool to distinguish these spectra are Steenrod squares. In this talk we will explain how to compute these Steenrod squares for the Khovanov spectra.
