Tim Römer (Osnabrück University)Algebraic properties of Levi graphs associated with curve arrangements

We consider algebraic properties of edge ideals with a special focus on those ones associated with plane curve arrangements via their Levi graphs. In particular, using combinatorial properties of Levi graphs we are able to study those associated monomial algebras, which are Cohen-Macaulay, Buchsbaum, and sequentially Cohen-Macaulay. We also consider the projective dimension and the Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity for these edge ideals.

In this talk we discuss recent results and open questions on these topics.
